6 Compatibility with TCC

This chapter compares normalization factors estimated by normpatch with normalization factors obtained from corresponding workflows in TCC. The comparison focuses on normalization factor estimation. Final DEG testing is not evaluated here because normpatch is designed to return normalized objects that can be passed to downstream packages, including edgeR and DESeq2.
